CONGRATULATIONS, NFL!!! 3 1/2 Whole Weeks Since THIS Has Happened!

This has obviously been a tough year for the National Football League, which has basically been committing hari-kari as it kowtows to Black Lives Matter.

The situation has become so disastrous that one can see an overwhelming number of empty seats in the lower tier during the fourth quarter a close game at a beautiful brand-new state-of-the-art stadium where a team that came just a time-management brain-fart from winning last year’s Super Bowl plays!

But let’s look at the positive though, as much of a stretch as it may be…

Impressively, the players of the NFL have now gone OVER THREE WEEKS without being arrested. Of course, the season is still young, and everyone — even the very “woke” and winless Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers — still has a shot at making the postseason, so players may well have their priorities straight to some extent. But nevertheless one must give credit where credit is due. (… DRUMROLL, PLEASE! …)

It has now been 3 1/2 weeks since Los Angeles Rams defensive end Ethan Westbrooks was arrested Friday night on suspicion of carrying a loaded stolen firearm.

As reported:

Westbrooks was arrested [on the night of Friday, September 22] on five felony charges of receiving stolen property, carrying a loaded firearm, carrying a stolen loaded firearm, grand theft of a firearm and possession of a high capacity magazine, according to police records.

Westbrooks was arrested without incident following a traffic stop on Interstate 5 west of Bakersfield, California. According to the police report, the arresting officer stopped Westbrooks after he noticed him driving at a high rate of speed. After stopping Westbrooks, the officer observed a handgun in the vehicle and determined it was loaded. A records check of handgun revealed the gun was reported stolen. Westbrooks was then placed under arrest.

Westbrooks was booked into the Kern County Jail Receiving Facility in Bakersfield before being released. The California Highway Patrol arrest-investigation report has been forwarded to the Kern County District Attorney Office for review.
