Black NFL Player Says there will be an “UPROAR” if they have to STAND on Sunday.

Swamp Drain

President Trump’s tweet over the weekend apparently put the fear of God in NFL management.  He pointed out that the NFL gets massive tax breaks from municipalities all over this country, tweeting:

Why is the NFL getting massive tax breaks while at the same time disrespecting our Anthem, Flag and Country? Change tax law!

Swamp Drain

And guess what happened?

Within hours, NFL owners and management to begin discussing possibility of actually upholding their own rules and honoring our flag and country during the anthem.

Suddenly, according to Reuters, they are now considering an effort to require the players to stand during the national anthem.

Hey, why didn’t someone think of that that before?

Now, some 25 year old, spoiled, multi-millionaire athletes aren’t satisfied with that,  and are preparing to pitch fits or have temper tantrums this Sunday.  Good!  Let them.  Then take away their paychecks. That’s what would happen to any normal American if they decided to kneel down in the middle of work when they supposed to be doing something else.

The Washington Times reports:

Tampa Bay defensive lineman, Gerald McCoy , just predicted Wednesday that there would be an “uproar” if the NFL requires players to stand for the national anthem versus taking a knee or sitting in protest.

“I don’t think guys are going to like it,” Mr. McCoy told ESPN’s Adam Schefter. “I think it’s going to be an uproar if that is to happen because you’re basically taking away a constitutional right to freedom of speech. If guys wanna have a, I guess you would call it a peaceful protest, I don’t think it’s right to take that away from guys.”

His comments came a day after NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said that teams would consider a rule change at next week’s regularly scheduled meeting in New York City that would require players to stand during the pregame ceremony.

In a memo to all 32 teams, Mr. Goodell also said that “we believe that everyone should stand for the national anthem,” prompting President Trump to declare that it’s “about time.”

I don’t think there will be an “uproar” because these guys are too attached to their  paychecks, and most of them actually want to play football.

Someone let me know what happens because, once again, I will not be watching!   Please SHARE if you’re not watching until EVERY PLAYER STANDS!
