Twitter CEO Elon Musk overruled the Minnesota Lieutenant Governor on the issue of child gender transitions after she made comments he found absurd. Musk has ten kids. One of his kids recently changed his name from Xavier to Vivian because:
“Gender Identity and the fact that I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form.”
Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan made some comments Musk and other parents took issue with. She said: “Let’s be clear: this is life-affirming and life-saving healthcare. When our children tell us who they are, it is our job as grown-ups to listen and to believe them. That’s what it means to be a good parent.”
Musk fired back: “Not when they’re fed propaganda by adults. Moreover, every child goes through an identity crisis before their personality/identity crystallizes.
“Therefore, we shouldn’t allow severe, irreversible surgery or sterilizing drugs that they may regret until at least age 18.”
Twitter users agreed with Musk correcting Flanagan:
“This is literally the worst parenting advice I’ve ever heard.
“This is the exact opposite of parenting.
“If I got my way to be what I wanted to at 5 years old, I’d have been a dinosaur.
“My son thought he was Blade (the vampire hunter) when he was 10.
“My 19 yr old daughter went from straight to lesbian to bisexual and back to straight in the past 3 years.
“As a parent I made no judgements.
“I also made NO Dr. Appts! Good thing I was the adult!

My 19 yr old daughter went from straight to lesbian to bisexual and back to straight in the past 3 years. As a parent I made no judgements. I also made NO Dr. Appts! Good thing I was the adult!
